The Commissioner for Finance, Akwa Ibom State, Dr. Linus Nkan has declared his renewed commitment  to the realization of the ARISE Agenda of Governor Umo Eno’s led administration.

Dr. Nkan dropped the hint recently on his resumption of duties at the State Finance Headquarters where he was received with pomp by the Permanent Secretary, Directors and Staff of the Ministry.

The astute finance expert urged staff to be ready to work harder in order to provide the needed service to the people of the state as captured in the Five Point Programme of the ARISE Agenda anchored by Governor Umo Eno.

The Commissioner advised Civil Servant to respect the ethics of punctuality and effectiveness at work as well as pursue professionalism and excellence in the discharge of their daily routine.

In this welcome remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Mr Mark Umoh who congratulated the Commissioner on his reappointment and subsequent redeployment to the Ministry added that Management and Staff of the Ministry are elated to receive him back.

Mr Umoh avowed the unalloyed loyalty, commitment and dedication of Staff to the present administration, stating that they are ready to give their best towards the success of this administration.

He disclosed that workers in the Ministry are ready to provide service in line with the ethics of the Public Service.
