Not complacent with the quantum and quality of job delivery by Bulletine Construction Company in its interventionist operations at ravine site in Etim Okon Usanga, the Hon. Commissioner for Environment and Mineral Resources, Chief Uno Etim Uno, has called on the Construction Company, Bulletine, to up the ante in its operations, so as to beat the stipulated timeline set by the State Government and also deliver a high-quality job that would stand the test of time.

Chief Uno made the call this afternoon during his assessment visit to the project site, at which occasion he interacted with the Operations Manager, Mr. Roland Harp, harping on the imperative of time-sensitive and quality interventionist engagement that would save The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Etim Okon Usanga district Headquarters and the vast community from the menacing effects of the ravine.

The Environment boss, Uno, accompanied by the Permanent Secretary, Iquo Abia, Esq and other critical Staff of the Environment ministry, hinted that while the State Government commits her resources to ensuring successful completion of the project in Etim Okon Usanga community, she does not lose sight of several other environmentally degraded areas in the State which constantly begs for Government’s interventionist response.

The Environment helmsman, hence, advised people of the community to keep faith with the process, assuring them that the Golden Era administration of Pastor Umo Eno would bring them something worthwhile to cheer, particularly in the critical area of environmental management.

Recall that the ravine site located behind The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Etim Okon Usanga district Headquarters in Uyo, prior to the interventionist effort by government, had constituted a source of threat to the Church members and the vast Etim Okon Usanga community , due to its menace to the people and residents of the area. Hence, the call by Chief Uno for expeditious job delivery in terms of quantum and quality, has been highly applauded by the community and the Church.

The Hon. Commissioner’s entourage comprised the State Coordinator of NEWMAP – Dr. Ubong Harrison; director – Flood and Erosion Control, Mr. Okon Udo among others.
