Tuesday , a reception party was held by the Nigerian High Commission in Alberta, Calgary, Canada for the Minister, and in attendance were Ambassador Obioma Nzewuji – Charge D’Affairs, Nigeria High Commission, Ottawa; and Mrs Rhema Olayemi – Nigerian High Commission, Ottawa; Authority Chief Executive, Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Farouk Ahmed, among other dignitaries.

During the Global Energy Show, Ekpo held a meeting with the Nigerian community and investors in the energy sector, where he showcased Nigeria’s immense potential in the global energy landscape, particularly in the gas sector.

The Minister also met with Nigerian business developers at Nigeria Pavillion during the Global Energy Show. Ekpo also reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to the creation of a conducive investment climate in the gas sector.
