Gerinyen Humanitarian Foundation Inspires Young Minds, Donates to School

The CEO of Gerinyen Humanitarian Foundation, Mrs. Inyene Gerald, has charged pupils of St. Patrick Primary School, Ikot Akpa Obong, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, on the importance of self-value and morals as a key to a bright future.

Speaking during her visit to the school recently, Mrs. Gerald emphasized the significance of values such as honesty, respect, responsibility, kindness, and discipline in shaping the next generation.
She explained that, the aims of the foundation is to promote education and build character among pupils in government schools. And cited prominent sons and daughters of Akwa Ibom State, including the Executive Governor, Pastor Umo Eno and the President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, as examples of individuals who have humbled themselves, added value, and become outstanding in society.

While mentoring the pupils, Mrs.Gerald cautioned them against vices that could jeopardize their future, emphasizing the importance of values and contentment as essential for personal growth and development.
As part of her visit, Mrs. Gerald donated school uniforms, bags, and sandals to the pupils, noting that, the gesture is part of the foundation’s efforts to support the vulnerable, alleviate the financial burden on parents and enhance learning.
In their separate speeches, the school management, village council and the youths expressed their heartfelt appreciation to Mrs. Gerald for her kindness and generosity.
The highlight of the visit was the presentation of the back-to-school items to the pupils, accompanied by a rendition by the pupils in appreciation of the gesture.
