Apostle Abasiandikan Nkono, Akwa Ibom State Representative on the Governing Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), on Tuesday, reminded the workforce of the state office of the Commission of the importance of consistency and dedication to work, stressing that such virtues not only increase workplace productivity but also please God.

Apostle Nkono made the assertion when he hosted staffers of the Commission’s fellowship group.

He commended them for holding the weekly prayer service, noting that through their commitment and dedication to God and service to the Commission, the country, state, and NDDC have witnessed stability and growth.

He also charged members of the group to develop entrepreneurial skills for additional engagement and benefits, encouraging them to see a bright future ahead regardless of their present state and cadre.

Director, Agriculture and Fisheries Directorate in the State office, Mr. Norbert Brown, commended Apostle Nkono for initiating the prayer group and for his love and passion for the NDDC.

He added that the gesture has drawn the Commission closer to God and urged members not to relent.

The event featured the presentation of gifts to committed and deserving members of the fellowship.

Speaking on behalf of all the recipients, the coordinator of the fellowship, Mr. Simeon Akwa, appreciated Apostle Nkono for the gesture and pledged to ensure the prayer group continues with more members in 2026.
