AKWA IBOM LAWMAKER FLAGS OFF FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH FOR CONSTITUENTS

In a move aimed at improving the healthcare and wellbeing of his constituents, the member representing Nsit Ubium State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Otobong Bob, has announced a 3-day free medical and surgical outreach to address the healthcare needs of his people.

The outreach, which is scheduled to hold from Thursday, February 13th to Saturday, February 15th, 2025, at Ikot Edibon Primary Health Center, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area is expected to provide succor to thousands of residents in the constituency who are in dire need of medical attention.

Hon. Bob, who disclosed this in an interaction with Skynet, said the outreach is part of his efforts to give back to his constituents and improve their living standards, added that, the exercise will feature surgeries, free eye glasses, treatment and free medication among other health care services,.

He further hinted that, the 3-day medical outreach will draw medical professionals from within and outside the state to provide services to the beneficiaries.
