Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Princess Emem Ibanga, joined friends, and well wishers in celebrating the wedding of her staff member, Miss Idorenyin Raphael, who was yesterday joined with her heartthrob, Mr. Samuel Frank in a conjugal bliss.

Speaking at the event held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, in Uyo, the Commissioner expressed deep admiration for the couple, highlighting the calm and graceful demeanor of the bride, which she observed upon assuming office.
“When I came into the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs a few months ago,” she recalled, “I met Idorenyin as a quiet, focused, and courteous young lady, someone whose calm spirit and dedication stood out. Samuel, I believe you saw that same grace, and perhaps even more.”

She went on to commend both parties for choosing each other and embarking on the journey of marriage with mutual respect and commitment.
“Thank you, Samuel, for choosing her. And Idy, thank you for saying ‘yes’ not just to the proposal, but to the journey of love and partnership,” the Commissioner said.
Encouraging the couple to walk in unity, she urged them to build a home grounded in love, patience, and understanding. She concluded with a prayer for a blessed and joyful union, saying, “May the Almighty bless and keep your union, guide your steps, and pour His grace abundantly upon you.”
The event which was a heartfelt celebration of love, had in attendance, the Permanent Secretary for Humanitarian Affairs, Mrs. Eno Akpan, management and staff of the ministry, family, friends and well wishers.
