~ Ekperikpe Ekpo assures A’Ibom on progressives flight

The promise was made at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, during a rally and grand reception marking the historic connection of the state with the center, as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Confident of President Bola Tinubu’s leadership and friendly disposition to Akwa Ibom, Ekpo said the turning point of the state in national politics is the administration of President Tinibu who has given Akwa Ibom sons and daughters seats at the national table, where critical dicisions affecting the development of the nation are reached.
“Asiwaju Tinubu has turned Akwa Ibom dreams to reality. Through him our son Senator Godswill Akpabio broke the jinx, emerging the Senate President and Chairman of the National Assembly. With Mr President’s magnanimity, the State is fast becoming the host of some critical national assets for economic growth and prosperity of the nation, through his courageous drive for the diversification of Nigeria’s revenue sources.”
Ekpo who is the Chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the West African Gas Pipeline (WAGP) commended Governor Umo Eno for turning the tide in favour of the State by leading her people to join the rulling party – the APC league. He further assured that with the center at the grip of a forward thinking leader, the state has nothing to fear.
“We will keep counting our gains now that we have consolidated our stakes as strategic partners in the Renewed Hope Agenda of this present administration,” he said.
The former Member, House of Representatives solicited continued support for Pastor Umo Eno’s administration, as he unites the state on a bipartisan ground, while delivering on his ARISE AGENDA blueprint for the interest of the State.
Ekpo thanked the President, represented by his Vice, His Excellency, Kashim Shettima; National Chairman of the Party, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; progressive governors, members of the National Assembly, and the teeming Akwa Ibom people for a momentous reception, signalling the changing phase of politics in the South South region of the country.
