No fewer than 52 students, in tertiary and Secondary Institutions across Akwa Ibom State, were on Friday, 5th June 2026 empowered
by the Multiplied Grace Fellowship ( MGF), as part of activities to commemorate her 12th anniversary.

Out of these number, 49 are students in tertiary Institution, while 3, are in both public and private secondary schools.

Presenting the cheques to the beneficiaries at Flairmore event center, Edet Akpan Avenue Uyo,
the lead Pastor of the Fellowship, Pastor Uwem Andrew-Essien, alongside his wife, Pastor Imabong
said the scholarship was in recognition of the commitment of the beneficiaries in their various service Units in the Fellowship.

Pastor Andrew-Essien explained that the
decision to include students in secondary schools for the scholarship, was based on their good academic track record

While appreciating the beneficiaries for their commitment and dedicated service in God’s vineyard, he encouraged them not to be “weary in well doing”, assuring that, God will continue to reward their labour of love.

The lead Pastor who was full of gratitude to God for His faithfulness upon the Fellowship in the past eleven years of her existence, said the Fellowship has enjoyed growth, answered prayers and incredible testimonies.

Preaching on the theme of the anniversary, ” my season of setlement”, the General Overseer of Insight Bible Church, Dr. Sylvanus Ukafia, emphasized that divine settlement is far more than finacial prosperity.

Dr. Ukafia said setlement is God’s way of bringing His children into a season of rest, peace and fulfillment, after periods of struggle, hardship and waiting.

Drawing his text from 1Peter 5: 10, he maintained that when God settles a person, He repairs what was broken, restores opportunities and establishes them firmly in their purpose.

Dr Ukafia enjoined Christians to trust God and follow His process , assuring that after every season of suffering, God is faithful to settle His children in line with His word.

The well attended event featured choir ministrations, dance, drama, the unvailing of the new edition of the Fellowship prayer book, ” My fayher My father”, cutting of the anniversary cake and thanksgiving by OB Care Foundation- a non governmental organisation that is at the forefront in the fight against cancer.
